Rants & Raves - January 15

I want to give a huge rave to TRMC ER and ICU along with all the doctors, nurses, respiratory, palliative care and all others involved with my father during his recent illness and death. No one could have been more caring, compassionate or professional.
Kudos to Robert Slabaugh and Tina O'Day at the library on Love Avenue. Robert, the research librarian, goes the extra mile to help, always with a smile. Tina engages the teenagers in fun and constructive activities and always has a friendly greeting for us older folks. She, too, goes the extra mile.
This is a Rave for Officer Bailey of the Tifton Police Department. He came to my rescue when my car wouldn't crank before Christmas. He went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me and I can't thank him enough. I also want to thank the nice lady who stopped and had tools. Y'all didn't have to care but you did. You could have first looked the other way and went on about your business.
What a wonderful place Tift Gymnastics Academy is! The staff are so sweet. My children love it and have learned so much! Thank you Tift Gymnastics Academy!
Thank you to Publix for making me feel like I was the only customer at the store on Monday even though it was very busy. Ronnie in the produce department tried to find the item I was looking for and then brought it to me as I continued to shop. I wouldn’t think of shopping anywhere alse with people like that working for Publix.
I wanted to send a Rave to the editor for her column. So sorry to hear about her health issue, but so glad she was able to get help. I also have had to spend time in the TRMC ER, and I was also treated very well. Glad to hear you’re doing better, Madame Editor. Keep up the good work!
