SYCAMORE — Edward Ray Black, 81, of Sycamore died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at his residence following a short illness. Funeral services will e held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Perry Funeral Chapel Inc. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Chapel. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Scott Black; sons, Ray Eric Black of Pearson, Todd Black of Ashburn; daughter, Jodye Jones of Sylvester; and brothers, Billy R. Black of Ashburn, Hurbert Black of Sylvester, David "Timmy" Black of Sycamore and Joe R. Black of Ft. Myers, Fla.
