McNeil takes position at Southern Care

TIFTON —

Celeste McNeil has been named Community Relations Director at Southern Care Assisted Living of Tifton, one of the region’s premier senior communities and its only licensed assisted living facility.

McNeil, of Ty Ty, has deep roots in the community. She has served as Membership Coordinator for the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce and as Sales and Marketing Director for the Tiftarea YMCA.

In joining the team at Southern Care, McNeil says she has a passion for working with the senior population.

"I am excited to be working for such a great company and am looking forward to serving our local seniors and their families of the greater Tifton area.  Southern Care offers much needed solutions relating to senior care and assistance with daily living needs." McNeil said.

“We are thrilled to have Celeste join our team,” said Frank Sayles Jr., administrator. “Her enthusiasm and love for our community is a tremendous asset for Southern Care Assisted Living. She is helping to get out our message about the many great things going on at Southern Care.”

The mother of two girls, McNeil attended Opaloosa Walton College and Amarillo College in Texas. She has served on the Kids Advocacy Coalition board in Tifton, on the Tift Theatre Board of Directors, on the Tiftarea Health Action Team, and has participated with the local Homeless Coalition and with Tift County Family Connections.

She is a member of Ty Ty Baptist Church, and likes to rides bikes, cook and read.
