Sara Grace Jones

OMEGA — Sara Grace Jones, 81 of Omega passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Agape Health and Rehab of Moultrie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Purvis Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Omega City Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service at Purvis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born Oct. 10, 1932 to the late George and Annie Lucille Grantham Woods. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her first husband, Perry Melvin Harper; son, George Melvin Harper; grandson, William Bryan Donald; sister, Pat Croy; son in law, Bill Donald.

 Survivors include her husband, Bobby Jones of Omega; daughters, Kathy Spivey (H. C.) of Omega, Patricia Simmons (Neil) of Ty Ty, and Peggy Carr (Mike) of Tift County; one brother, Jack Woods (Juanita) of Keltown; six grandchildren, Kevin Donald, Michael Carr, Jamie Carr, Alex Simmons, Ches Spivey, and Audrey Reed; 10 great grandchildren, Tyler Donald, Ryan Donald, Casie Carr, James Carr, Caitlin Carr, Ean Carr, Michael Reed, Caroline Reed, Evelyn Spivey, and Andrew Spivey. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
