TGA has strong showing at Whitlow Sand Dollar

TIFTON — Tift Gymnastics Academy had a strong showing at the Whitlow Sand Dollar Invitational last weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla., where they competed against 150 teams from across the United States.

TGA’s Level 9 gymnast Anna Sumner won 2nd place on vault and uneven bars, 3rd on beam and in all-around. Khloe Parker took 2nd on vault and 3rd on bars in her age division.

The Level 8 team finished 7th overall out of 45 teams. Elyssa Roberts took 2nd on vault,  Kaylee MacDonald won 1st place on bars, 2nd on vault, 3rd on the floor and in the all-around and Lindsay MacDonald took 1st on balance beam.

Charlotte Robinson took 1st in the vault in Level 7. Lauren Klofach and Grace Clements also both scored 3rd place in Level 5 bars. At TGA’s Level 3, Rebecca James won 2nd on beam and 3rd on vault and all-around.

TGA has announced that they will be expanding and moving into a new large facility soon.
