Mell Duggan Eadie II

TY TY — Mell Duggan Eadie II, 43, of Ty Ty died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Derrell Spikes officiating. Entombment will follow in the Tift Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Mr. Eadie was born March 24, 1970 to Helen Johnson Eadie of Tift County and the late John Douglas Eadie. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Eadie. He graduated from Tift County High School and the University of Georgia with a degree in forestry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching old movies.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Eadie is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Charles Baldree of Lenox and Nancy and R.J. Rezner of Fairhope, Ala.; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Dennis Shumock of Alexandria, La., Derwood Eadie of Atlanta, Dexter Eadie of Saudi Arabia and John R. and Kay Eadie of Athens; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8384 Baymeadows Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
