Shirley Sumner Hines, 70, of Adel died Monday, May 19, 2014 at her sister's residence in Valdosta. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday  at Gordon Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Boykin officiating. Interment will take place in Pavo at Lebanon Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. following the funeral service. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., in Adel. She is survived by three sons, David Hines of Adel, Steve Hines of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lesley Hines of Gainesville, Fla.
