Spread the Word – May 9


OMEGA — Omega Church of God is in one of the greatest revivals since Brownsville. We are in our 12th week and God has already confirmed we will go until he says to end. We are listening and being obedient to God and at this point do not have an ending date. People are being healed, delivered and set free. This is a revival you do not want to miss. Evangelist Ann Braswell has been bringing the word each night with power packed direction from God. Services begin at 7 p.m. Mon - Fri and 6 p.m. Sunday. There is no service Saturday. Pastor Joe Crews brings the word Sunday morning. All churches and pastors are invited to attend and be a part of what God is doing.
Mother’s Day Celebration
TIFTON — Strickland Temple Church of God in Christ, 2716 South Central Ave., will hold its  “Mother’s Day Celebration.”  Evangelist Tomika Webb of Atlanta will be the guest speaker. Service will begin at 9 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. Bishop Larry L. Shaw is the pastor.
TIFTON — River of Life Church, 2214 Tyson Ave., presents Divine Connections with Pastor Jermaine Jones. The first service and Mothers day celebration will be held at 3 p.m. May 11. River of Life Church is where you can freely worship God in Spirit and in truth. With the birth of Divine Connections there are now two Sunday services offered. The morning Contemporary service begins at 10 a.m. and Divine Connections begins at 3 p.m.
Women in Commitment
TIFTON — Philadelphia COGIC, 4423 Hwy 319 S., will hold its women in commitment service at noon on May 11. All are invited to attend, including men. For more information, call 229-339-1636. Pastor and Elder Cullins, overseers.
Mothers Day 
TIFTON — Allen Temple AME Church, 1908 South Park Ave., will hold a special worship service, with tributes and memorials included in the worship bulletin, to honor mothers on Mother’s Day at 11 a.m. May 11. The theme will be “Hats Off to Godly Mothers.” A special candle lighting ceremony will be held in memory of deceased mothers. The guest speaker will be Tara Harris, wife of the pastor. The worship service is sponsored by the Daniels-Glenn Missionary Society.  Verneen Evans, president, Erma Edwards, chairperson for the Mother’s Day observance, and the Rev. Jermaine D. Harris is the pastor.
