Randall Clark Dean

SYCAMORE — Randall Clark Dean, 71, of Sycamore died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Nunn officiating. Interment will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers are Eric Roberts, Troy Owens, Scotty Roberts, Steven Walker, Jason Walker and Daniel Jackson.

Mr. Dean was born Jan. 23, 1943 in Thomas County to the late Harley Lee and Edith Lenora Peek Dean. He was also preceded in death by a son, Albert Dean; three sisters; and a brother. He was a retired farmer and an outdoorsman who loved to work, hunt and fish. Mr. Dean was a member of Christian Union Church of God in Ashburn. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was devoted to his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vernice Lee Roberts Dean of Sycamore; two daughters, Lenora Dean and fiancé Raymond Rabbitt of Morven and Edith Webb of Tifton; a son, Tony Dean of Tifton; six grandchildren, Sierra Webb, Russell Webb, Kayla Hartsfield, T.J. Dean, Joshua Dean and Lezlie Dean; six great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Talmadge and Teeny Dean of Tifton, Donald and Betty Dean of Baconton and John and Brenda Dean of Waycross; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gennell Helms of Anniston, Ala. and Linda and Bruce Walker of Dixie; and several nieces and nephews.
