Linda Hurst Locke

HERMITAGE, Tenn. — Linda Hurst Locke, 57, of Hermitage, Tenn. died Tuesday, April 8, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Friday at Hermitage United Methodist Church, located at 205 Belinda Drive in Hermitage, Tenn. and at 3 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, located at 202 S. East Street in Somerville, Tenn. Interment will follow at Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. and one hour prior to service time Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Somerville, Tenn. Mrs. Locke is survived by her husband of 23 years, Joseph Reeves Locke Jr.; parents, Stanley A. and Camilla Hurst; and sisters, Betty Hurst and Nancy Delaney.

In lieu of flowers, for those who choose, memorials may be made to Asbury University, 1 Macklem Drive, Wilmore, KY 40390, or Asbury Theological Seminary, 204 N. Lexington Ave., Wilmore, KY 40390. Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. is in charge of arrangements.
