Tift divides games with Coffee

TIFTON —  The Tift County Blue Devils split their Saturday games with the Coffee Trojans at Douglas.

The Devils ran their record to 17-2 with a 73-63 win. They led by nine at halftime and were up six points going into the 4th.

Tift’s girls are now 8-11 following a 78-57 defeat by the Lady Trojans. The Lady Devils had a 12-6 lead after one quarter and trailed by one at the half, but surrendered 30 in the 3rd to Coffee.

They are 3-3 in Region 1-AAAAAA, while the boys are 6-0.

They will be at Camden County Friday and host Brunswick Saturday.
