H. Paul Perry

ASHBURN — H. Paul Perry, 67, of Ashburn died Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at his residence following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ashburn First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn.

The son of the late Charles V. and Emily Eilene Butler Perry, Mr. Perry was born in Tift County and had lived in Turner County most of his life. He was a funeral director and co-owner of the family firm, Perry Funeral Chapel Inc., in Ashburn. Paul was an active member of the First Baptist Church where he was a deacon, a member of Bill Hardin Sunday School class, the church choir and served as the church treasurer for a long number of years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, Charles B. Perry.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Robertson Perry; his children, Eilene Perry and Jonathan Perry; a sister, Elizabeth P. See; a brother, Edgar F. (Darlene) Perry; and a sister-in-law, Barbara H. Perry, all of Ashburn.
