Summer meals program to be offered


Tift County Schools, the Georgia School Nutrition Program and the Tiftarea YMCA have partnered to bring the “Feeding Georgia’s Kids Summer Meals” program. These organizations will be providing lunches to children Monday through Friday, from noon to 12:30 p.m., during the summer at the following locations: Omega Elementary, Peterson Apartments, G.O. Bailey Primary School, Puckett Park, Beulah Hill Church, J.T. Reddick School, Springfield Baptist Church, Copeland Park, Dixie Avenue Apartments, Hills Apartments, Dean’s Blue Devil Den and First Church of Nazarene.

This is a free program and is open to all children up to age 18 who need feeding.

Breakfast will also be served to those attending programs at the Tiftarea YMCA Camp, Tift County Recreation Department and summer cchool.
