Lady Devils split last two at Colquitt

TIFTON — The Tift County Lady Blue Devils split their last two games of the Colquitt Christmas Shoot-Out over the weekend.

Friday, they were edged by Rickards (Fla.), 66-64. Saturday brought much better news, with a 62-53 win over the Newton Lady Rams.

This pushed their winning streak against Newton to two games. They defeated them 55-38 in the second round of the state playoffs last year.
