Martha Adell Parker Russell

MOULTRIE — Martha Adell Parker Russell, 87, of Moultrie, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2013 at Unihealth Post Acute Care. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mark Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens.

Casketbearers will be Brandon Russell, Butch Webb, Glenn Parker, Dewayne Russell, Burton Russell and Bob Russell. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born Jan. 15, 1926 in Moultrie, she was the daughter of the late S.T. Parker and Dona Adele Horne Parker. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Russell; five brothers, Murray Parker, Horace Parker, Lamar Parker, Donald Parker and Joe Parker; three sisters, Margaret Parker, Christine Webb and Dorothy Russell.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald T. Russell of Moultrie and Robert W. Russell of Atlanta; two daughters, Pam Russell Rorer of Tallahassee, Fla. and Penny Russell Hancock of Tifton; six grandchildren, Jessica Amatto, Christie Polk, Jana Joy, Rebecca Hancock, Katie Russell and Brandon Russell; three great-grandchildren, Bella Polk, Addison Joy and Daniela Russell.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
