Takedown wins at weekend tournament

TIFTON — Tifton Takedown’s Holiday Tournament took place Jan. 11 at Eighth Street Middle School and featured over 200 wrestlers from around the state for the all-day USA tournament. Coach Nick Hodnett's team, Tifton Takedown, brought home the 1st place team trophy for the afternoon session and his team had an abundance of medal winners. They would like to thank their sponsors and businesses for providing for this event: Olive Garden,Dominos,Chick-fil-A, Oh My Goodies bakery, Rudy’s Pharmacy, Waffle House, Marco’s Pizza, Tift County Wrestling Boosters and the overwhelming response of parents and students that helped this event so successful.
