Andy Harrell

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Andy Harrell, 75, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakridge Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Ragland officiating. The family may be contacted at the home of Myra and Mark McGill, 2708 Hwy. 319 S., Tifton.

Mr. Harrell was born May 19, 1938 in Tift County to the late J.T. and Elizabeth Denby Harrell. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Tift County High School. Mr. Harrell was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War crisis. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for apartment complexes. Mr. Harrell was a member of Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Fruit Cove, Fla. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife, Virginia Bishop Harrell of St. Augustine, Fla.;  two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul A. Harrell of Jacksonville, Fla., and Marc and Kristie Harrell of St. Augustine, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kyle Harrell and Ace Hunter Harrell; one brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Celia Harrell of Charleston, S.C.; and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Myra and Mark McGill of Tifton.
