Tifton native nominated to be contestant in VIZIO BCS National Football Championship contest

TIFTON — VIZIO, America’s #1 large size LCD TV company1, recently announced the launch of its VIZIO 2014 BCS National Championship Game Fan Throwdown contest. Searching for the nation’s biggest college football superfan, VIZIO is looking for the most-die hard loyalists to submit a video or photo showing their commitment to the sport, its teams and traditions. The entrant who proves to be the most fanatic will win a VIP trip for two to the VIZIO 2014 BCS National Championship in Pasadena, on Jan. 6, 2014 and a 55-inch VIZIO M-Series Smart TV.

Kristopher McKinnon-Miller, a native of Tifton and a 2013 graduate of Tift County High School, has been nominated as a contestant in the contest.

He entered the drawing by submitting a video of why is he the biggest football fan.  The video submission could not exceed one minute.  Kristopher is a huge football fan of many teams college and national leagues but his heart belongs with Florida State University, the garnet and gold, the Seminoles.

He is seeking the help from his local Tiftarea community to help him win by just voting on Facebook.

There are just a few steps to vote.

First, Kristopher, is asking that everyone please go to Vizio Fan Page and like the page.

Second, look for the Fan Throw Down tab and click on that.

Third, click on the video that says Kristopher.

Next, watch his video he submitted.

Then, click on the Vote tab next to Kristopher’s video.

Finally, share that you just votes on your Facebook page and spread the word.

Kristopher said, “It is not just being a Seminole fan, but just being nominated out of thousands of entries across 48 states and being the only one from South Georgia.  I really need everyone with a Facebook page to please go and vote.  You can vote in hourly increments.  I have never been to California and would enjoy this kind of opportunity.”
