Omar Daniel was second in tackles with 132 for Fitzgerald, and was named a first-team inside linebacker by the coaches.

In the defensive backfield, Cook’s Michael Hendley was named to the first-team at cornerback, and Berrien’s Kedron West was also named to the squad at the other corner position.

Martez Christopher from Brooks County was named the Offensive Player of the Year after rushing for 1,790 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Thomasville’s Tyrone Williams was named the Defensive Player of the Year.

Brooks County head coach Maurice Freeman was voted the Coach of the Year, after leading the Trojans to the Class AA Final four.
