Newberry also had a hand in each of the four Turner scores. He had two rushing scores of four and 10 yards, and he threw a pair of touchdown passes to Hiawatha Parker for 31 and 34 yards.

Parker ended the night with four catches for 101 yards, while Todd Lawson had five catches for 57 yards, and Lester Green had three catches for 51 yards.

Dee Hayles added 106 yards rushing on just 10 carries, and E.J. Walker had 15 carries for 82 yards.

The Rebels will be off next week, before returning to action Oct. 24 at Dooly County in another 2-A encounter.
