Don’t get mad at the innocent bystanders By Steve Carter/Sports EditorThe one variable is going to be a school that is not familiar at all to Tift County High fans, but one that Tiftarea Academy fans know very well. That school is the Brookwood School from Thomasville, last year’s state champion in Class AA in GISA.
Brookwood has since moved up into Class AAA and is no longer in the same region as Tiftarea Academy, but the Warriors of Brookwood will be coming to Chula this coming season for a non-region game. It will be an interesting comparison to see how the Brookwood athletes stack up to the other schools involved today.
