Police report for Feb. 23

— Crime briefs:

• A man who lives in the 300 block of Highway 125 South reported Tuesday that someone entered two automobiles at his residence during the night. The report states that there were items taken from one and property damage inside the other.

• A Tift County High School student was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly purchased three hydrocodone pills from another male in the school’s parking lot. The report states that an officer located the male subject who the student allegedly purchased the pills from; no drugs were found on his person. The report states that Clayton Alexander Hornbuckle, 17, 1409 Ty Ty-Sparks Road, Ty Ty, was charged with possession of schedule II hydrocodone.

• A woman who lives on Prince Avenue reported Tuesday that her apartment was burglarized. She reported that all of her dresser drawers were open and that her things were scattered everywhere. The report states that someone entered through the bathroom window by damaging the screen and tampering with the window lock. The offender exited through the back door in the kitchen. The woman reported that a laptop and glass change jar were missing.

Shanmaria Hope Bryant, 25, 2562 Allentown Road, Montrose, was charged Tuesday with a probation violation and giving a false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.

Tamar Denson, 35, 1413 Ferry Lake Road, was charged Wednesday with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and driving without insurance.

Clayton Alexander Hornbuckle, 17, 1409 Ty Ty-Sparks Road, Ty Ty, was charged Wednesday with possession of schedule II hydrocodone.

Caniesha Keiara Jones, 21, 306 E. 30th St., was charged Wednesday with theft by deception.

Juan Felix Lopez Ortiz, 20, 556 Creekwood Drive, Orlando, Fla., was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.

Earl Bruce Riner, 62, 239 Carolina Drive, was charged Wednesday with an expired tag and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Calvin Alonzo Scot, 49, 1118 S. Park Ave., was charged Wednesday with driving without insurance and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.
