Published July 02, 2008 08:24 pm - Police reports for July 3, 2008 Tift County Sheriff’s Office Shelty James Canty Jr., 27, 4112 Midland Ave., was charged Tuesday with simple battery. Brandon Keith Giddens, 33, 2602 Don Caster, Albany, was charged Tuesday with a probation violation. Leonard Max Griffin, 40, 534 Lower Brookfield Road, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended license, obstructing or hindering law enforcement and reckless driving. Joshua Neil Simmons, 21, 120 Wilson St., was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended or revoked license, defective/missing headlights and a safety restraint violation. Tifton Police Dept. Frank Anthony Scutti, 24, Moultrie, was charged Tuesday with a probation violation.
