Police reports for July 2, 2008



Crime briefs:

• A man who lives in the 1400 block of Shanna Drive reported that someone entered his residence and stole a television, radio and other electronic equipment estimated to be worth $1,050.

• A woman who lives in the 4100 block of Midland Avenue reported that someone forced open her front door and stole jewelry and electronic equipment valued at $1,600.

• A woman who lives in the 3600 block of U.S. Highway 82 West reported that someone entered her residence and stole $140 in cash. She also reported that someone stole $50 worth of gas from a vehicle parked behind her residence.

• A woman who lives in the 100 block of U.S. Highway 319 North reported that someone stole $2,400 worth of property from her storage building.

• A woman who lives in the 1700 block of Brookvale Drive reported that she returned home to find that someone had tried to remove her air conditioner from her kitchen window.

Tifton Police Dept.

Nancy Candice Johnson, 27, 606 E. Second St., was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended or revoked license, driving without a valid tag/license plate, tail/tag light missing or inoperative and failure to stop at a stop sign.

Contessa Marketon Morgan, 21, 121 E. 17th St., was charged Monday wtih criminal trespass.

Carol Elaine Sullivan, 30, no address, was charged Monday with burglary.

Jose Martinez, 52, no address, was charged Sunday with theft by shoplifting.

Santiko Lasha Moye, 20, 607 Prince Ave., was charged Friday with theft by shoplifting.

Jose Roberto Nunez, 22, 1407 Bill Bowen Road, Lot 58, was charged Sunday with criminal trespass, participating in criminal street gang activity and public drunkenness.

Ben Samuel Skinner, 45, 412 Tift Ave. #10, was charged Saturday with possession of cocaine and failure to appear.
