Clear it out
“Thank God the executions are starting to roll again around the nation. I would love to see Death Row cleared across this nation within a few years.”

Support skatepark
““The Tift County Board of Commissioners will vote on the skatepark Monday, May 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the County Admin Building on Tift Avenue downtown. Anyone who supports this decision, this is your chance to come and show your support! Thanks.”

Too easy
“OK, this one goes out to all the non-believers out there. Have you ever heard of anything being too easy? OK. Well, then don’t you think it would be too easy to just live your life any old way you want, then to die and not be accountable for any of the horrible things you did along the way? I don’t think so.”

Best wishes
“As a member of the ABAC family, I would like to comment on Julie Conner’s decision to leave our college. I know that you are returning home to Tift County High, but I just must tell you how much you have meant to us. You are a great coach and a wonderful, caring teacher who always put ABAC pride on display in everything and every way you went about your job at ABAC. We will truly miss you. We know that Tift County High has gained a great coach, but you have also gained a remarkable young lady. We have enjoyed you so much at ABAC, Julie, and we wish you the best of everything.”

Wonderful job
“This is a Rave for Dottie Freeman, the cast and crew of the production of ‘Grease.’ They did a wonderful job, and we can’t wait to see the next show.”

Water update?
“I was calling concerning the articles in the paper a couple of weeks ago about the water restrictions. I noticed several people now have started to realize that since we do have a little bit more water in the earth that maybe they are not too worried about drinking water or food to eat and so forth. I was in (a local restaurant). They were watering their lawn. Water was running down both driveways and water was out in the street. I noticed an individual who waters frequently, sometimes two hours at the time in one spot; they’re not using hand watering which it seems like there was emphasis put on that in the paper. And I noticed a small article in the paper last night about how water restrictions had been eased. I wonder if the Gazette could run another article on what are the water restrictions now, the guidelines for it. I notice another individual who waters on a regular basis now with an underground sprinkler system. If y’all could enlighten some of us that are not too aware of what the water restrictions are, we’d be appreciative.”

Great event
“Wasn't the Love Affair wonderful? What a great community-wide party -- you see everyone you know, hear great music and look at beautiful artwork. Let's do it again next year!”
