Understanding
“As patients we all need to be more understanding when a physician needs to reschedule or take time off. They also have families that want precious time and we need to be more understanding. It's easy for us to change appointments but it's very difficult for patients to understand why a doctor needs time off.”
Caring teachers

On paper
“Regarding the city's pension fund, the Gazette's headline was misleading. There is no missing money, just a shortfall ‘on paper’ caused by one person projecting a higher rate of return than is historically reasonable and a lower rate of disbursement. However, I do think that city employees should be expected to participate to their retirement accounts through payroll deduction . Where else does the government, e.g. taxpayers, fully fund retirement accounts without any participation from the employees?”
Speak first
“Note to local restaurant owners: If one of your customers disputes what they think is an error/overcharge on the bill the least YOU can do is speak with them personally and try to resolve the situation and NOT just call the police! In the end you lose not only that customer but all those that witnessed the incident and those that later hear about it as well.”
Great job
“The days of $150 haircut and highlight are gone for me. Moultrie Technical College’s Tifton Campus Cosmetology Department does a great job for only $30. I love the service and the atmosphere. Come on, Tifton, check them out.”
A matter of taste
