TIFTON — Dixie Holmes, 83 of Adel died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Purvis Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Alester Jackson, Jr., 35, of Tifton, died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 in Ty Ty. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eagles Wings of Judah Worship Church with burial to follow at TyTy Cemtery. He is survied by his wife ShaCarol Taylor Jackson; his children, Branesha Henley, Ja'Kerion Jackson, Markel Stafford, Jeremiah Jackson; his step children, Zaccai Taylor, Azalea Clark, Samuel Clark, Jr., Joshua Clark; his parents, Arlester  and Joyce Jackson; his siblings, Sandra Wright and David Jackson. Aretha Ludden, 72, died November 6, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Churchwith the Rev. Muldrow officiating. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Services entrusted to Community Mortuary, LLC.

Zelma Taylor, 84 of Ashburn died Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Chapel. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Swanson of Ashburn; brother, John Tucker of Gainesville, Fla. and three sisters, Delarce Sheral of Lakeland, Fla., Betty Ann Troup and Carolyn Ray, both of Enigma. Earnest Walker of Enigma died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Tift Health Care. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Taylor Family Funeral Service.

Isom Reese, 72, of Tifton died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Victory Baptist Church with interment at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Victory Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Reese of Tifton; son, Richard Reese of Miami, Fla.; daughter, Veronica Reese-Okojie of Tampa, Fla.; ten siblings, Rosemary Wright, Bishop Earnest Reese Sr., Eva Nell McCurry, Willie Reese, Martha Roberts, all of Tifton, Odis Reese, David Reese, both of Ashburn, Mary Nell Wright of Miami, Fla, James Reese of Washington D.C. and Irene Johnson of Atlanta.
