Elizabeth Ann Sumner, 57 of Sparks died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at South Georgia Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.purvisfh.com. Purvis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   

Lawrence Brooks "L.B." Moore, 90, of Adel died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at the Memorial Convalscent Center following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in the Rountree Cemetery. Mr. Moore will lie in state at the church one hour before the time of service.

Mr. Moore is survived by his son, Larry Moore of Bessemer, Ala.

Ethel Virginia Kimsey, 86, of Melbourne, Fla., formerly of Albany, died Tuesday January 1, 2013 at Wuesthoff Health System in Rockledge, Fla. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Cemetery in Adel with the Rev. Billy Sutherland officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Lovein Funeral Home.

Charles Lee Lumpkin, 52 of Nashville died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Adel. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Emanuel Baptist Church, M.L.K. Drive, Nashville. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour before service at New Emanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his father, Eligah Lumpkin Sr.; daughters, Angelic Mathis, Lekesha Lumpkin, Shayla Lumpkin, Mary Wing, Charhai Lumpkin, alexis Lumpkin; brother, Eligah Lumpkin Jr.; sisters, Beverly Ann Lumpkin, Frankie Newsome and Ann Lumpkin. Black and Son Funeral Home, Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
