Milford M. “Buddy” Gill

ENIGMA — Milford M. “Buddy” Gill, 69, of Enigma died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013 at his residence.

A private graveside service will be held Friday. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers will be, Jacob Gill, Jerry Moore, Howard Moore, David Sullivan, Bryan Paulk and Loren Griffin.

Buddy was born May 13, 1944 in Tifton to the late Hubert H. “Doc” and Mary Moore Gill. He was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Joe Stauder. Buddy was a lifelong resident of Berrien County. He was the owner of Gill Construction Company. His whole life was devoted to his work and his family.

He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Andy and Melanie Gill and Mark Gill, all of Enigma; three grandchildren, Kip and Loren Griffin, Jordan Gill and Jacob Gill; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Calva and Edward McDaniel of Enigma and Glenda and Hayward Fowler of Tifton as well as several nieces and nephews.
