Jacky Willard Renew

ADEL — Jacky Willard Renew, 64, of Adel, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals, with the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Bob Thomas, Chappie Tift, Dale Sumner, Raleigh Coarsey, Homer Tift and Thomas Harrell will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mr. Renew was born March 26, 1943, in Tift County and was the son of Pressley Jackson “Pete” Renew and Betty Purvis Renew, both deceased. He was a livestock dealer and was of the Methodist faith.

Mr. Renew is survived by his wife, Judith Lamb Renew of Adel; one son and daughter-in-law, Pressley Jackson “Pete” Renew and his wife, Deena, of Tifton; one brother, Roy W. Renew of Sumner; a brother-in-law, Jerry Lamb of Anderson, S.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty Jean Renew Ledford and her husband, Ray, of Ray City; one sister-in-law, Janice Hamilton of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Renew and Evan Connor Renew, both of Tifton; a niece, Rebecca Sanderson of Tifton, and two nephews, Thomas Harrell of Ashburn and Brandon Potter of Ray City.
