MILLEDGEVILLE — Agnes Baggett Benford, 94, of Milledgeville died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at West View Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Bradley officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Moore’s Funeral Home in Milledgeville.

Mrs. Benford was retired co-owner of Benford’s Fine Foods and manager of Family Dollar. She was the widow of Lamar Sims Benford and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Sara Ann and Claudus Birdsong of Appling, Verna Miller of Macon, Marion and Sandy Baggett of Alpharetta, Loran Hardie of Gordon and Denton and Susan Hardie of Leesburg. She is also survived by seven great-nieces and nephews.
