TIFTON — Chestine Shaw Morrow, 91, of Tifton, died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009 at Tift Health Care following a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Lawrence Cemetery. Terrell Roberts will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mrs. Morrow was born on Dec. 24, 1917 in Guin, Ala. She was the daughter of Vester and Ida Shaw, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Roscoe Morrow; two brothers; six sisters; and a son-in-law, Johnny Lipsey, who died on Nov. 19, 2007.

Mrs. Morrow was a loving mother and grandmother and a member of Landmark Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Dwight Morrow (Pat); two daughters, Alice Ann Lipsey and Betty Sue Dees (Kage); seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
