James David ‘Jimmy’ Henderson
BROOKFIELD — James David "Jimmy" Henderson, 52, of Brookfield died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at his residence following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The Rev. Tommy Register will officiate with burial to follow at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Butch Coarsey, Carroll Coarsey, Buck McCranie, Ed Fussell, Mike Henderson and Crow Green will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Gaskins, Johnny Walker, Donnie Pearson and Will Webb.
Mr. Henderson was born on Sept. 1, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas, and was the son of Donald Henderson of Tifton and the late Hallie Marie Coarsey Henderson. He was a farmer and a member of Inaha Baptist Church. He was a lifetime resident of the Tiftarea.
In addition to his father, Mr. Henderson is survived by his wife, Sonya Barnes Henderson of Brookfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clay and Kelli Henderson of Dublin and Chad and Jennifer Sigmon Henderson of Dublin; one brother, Chuck Henderson of Waterloo; and four sisters, Kathy Smith of Tifton, Donna Yancey of Greensboro, S.C., Laurel Lee Pearson of Enigma and Charlotte Webb of Vanceville.
