The upcoming weekend is a busy one in Tifton. Residents have a full schedule of activities available. Among the events are:

• The Vietnam Moving Wall is on the practice field at Eighth Street Middle School all weekend. Modeled after the memorial wall in Washington, D.C., the wall is open to the public until 2:30 p.m. Monday when it will be packed and transported to its next scheduled display location.

At noon today, a remembrance ceremony and recognition of Gold Star families of Tift County servicemen will be held at the wall.

• The Second Annual Antique Show and Sale is both today and Sunday at the UGA-Tifton Campus Conference Center. Sponsored by the Tifton-Tift County Public Library Foundation, all proceeds benefit the public library to help acquire books, materials and children’s programming. Top antique dealers from around the Southeast are displaying antiques. Admission is $12. Today’s hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, 12:30 - 5 p.m.

At 11 a.m. today, Mary Palmer Dargan of Dargan Landscape Architects in Atlanta speaks on "Timeless Landscape Design." At 1:30 p.m., Valerie DeRoy of Atlanta speaks on "Principles of Design: A French Decorator’s Secrets." Tickets for the lectures are $25 each and may be purchased at the door. Jordan and Rosemary Short and Jack and Loraine Sullivan are this year’s honorary co-chairs of the Antique Show and Sale.

• Todd Allen Herendeen and his "Follow That Dream Band" perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. today at the UGA-Tifton Campus Conference Center. Admission is $10. The family-oriented, country and rock -n roll show includes selections from Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Tim McGraw, Neil Diamond and Elvis.

• James Gregory, veteran comedian, presents his front-porch humor at 7 p.m. today at the Tift Theatre. Tickets are $25 Gregory has performed before more than 200 corporations and entertained sold-out crowds in theaters and comedy clubs. He is heard weekly on syndicated radio shows such as "Rick and Bubba," "John Boy and Billy" and "Bob and Time."

• "Poker Run" sponsored by the Tifton H.O.G. Chapter begins at 9 a.m. today at Harley-Davidson in Tifton. The run benefits kids at the Georgia Sheriff’s Youth Ranch in Hahira.
