Published March 11, 2009 07:04 pm - BREAKING NEWS: 7:05 p.m. Turner punches ticket to Class A basketball final Using a 20-4 run over the final five minutes of the game, Turner County advanced to the GHSA Class A championship game with a 71-50 win over Athens Christian. With the win, the Rebels will face the winner of the Wilcox County-Whitefield Academy game Saturday at 12:45 p.m. at the Macon Centreplex.
