FITZGERALD — Greg and Dixie Sorrow of Rome and Tony and Lori Moncus of Fitzgerald are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Nicole Sorrow of Fitzgerald, to Bruce Clayton, son of Philip and Julie Clayton of Toomsboro.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. Robert and Joan Sorrow of Tifton and Carole and the late Chris Herrera of Panama City, Fla. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 2003 as well as Georgia College and State University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing. She is currently employed as the assistant director of The Salvation Army Milledgeville Service Center.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lamar and Marjeane Frazier of Marietta, Sherri and the late Walter Prestwood of Milledgeville, Charlotte Ragsdale of Lilburn and the late Thomas and Kathryn Clayton of Midway. He is a home school graduate and is currently employed by Mike Wood Builders and owns Clayton Construction.

The wedding is planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 19, 2009 at Voice of Truth Church in Irwinton. After the wedding, the couple will reside in Toomsboro.
