Published September 10, 2009 10:26 am - Happy 60th Anniversary! OMEGA — A.J. and Mary Willis of Omega celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 18. The couple was married Aug. 18, 1949 by the Rev. A.W. Thompson at his home. They have three children and their spouses, James and Pam Willis of Watkinsville, Ann and Donnie Roberts of Norman Park and Paula Edwards of Tifton. They have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
